Meet Dr. Badio
We are excited to have Dr. Laetitia A Badio join us! Dr. Badio completed her pediatric residency at Emory University School of Medicine
and joined us full-time in July.
Dr. Badio was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Haiti as a child. Early in life, Laetitia decided medicine was the career that fulfilled her passion to help those in need. She returned to the US to attend the University of Miami where she was active in global relief initiatives. She attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville and led a research project on breastfeeding sick infants.
Dr. Badio enjoys cooking international dishes – especially Haitian, Creole and Caribbean. She is an avid gardener and has a green thumb for succulents. She is fluent in French and Haitian Creole. She still finds time for ballet classes she has enjoyed since childhood. Nutrition and exercise are routine for her and she wants to emphasize the importance of both with school age and adolescent patients.
