The Pediatric Place Nutritionist
Jeanne Baker McDaniel is a board-certified specialist in pediatric nutrition with 15 years of experience as a dietitian. Her experience is derived from a variety of settings: hospitals, corporations, schools, public health organizations, individual counseling and personal training. Her passion has always been in the area of pediatrics and for over five years she was on staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where she worked with children and infants admitted to the hospital and intensive care units. During her tenure she specialized in helping children with diabetes, brain tumors, pulmonary issues including cystic fibrosis and many other special healthcare needs.
As a mother of three, Jeanne realizes now more than ever how important it is to individualize care for each child. Jeanne earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Miami University, a Masters of Science in Nutrition from Georgia State University, and completed her Dietetic Internship in Augusta, Georgia. She has presented on pediatric nutrition to a variety of groups including Mom’s clubs, medical professionals, corporate employees, as well as other dietitians. Jeanne is excited to be part of The Pediatric Place nutrition programs and looks forward to helping Dr. Bergman’s patients improve their health through optimal nutritional guidance.
